Public Consultation on the Local Plan underway

With Wiltshire Council's local plan in the final stages of approval, WC have opened it up to Public Consultation.

The Local Plan, which has been approved by the Council, is in the final stages before being sent to the Governement Planning Inspector for independent examination. The Council has therefore opened up the plan to public consultation and has invited comments and representations. All of these will be passed on to the Planning Inspector, along with the plan itself, for consideration.

Sustainable Amesbury has commissioned two letter from its Planning Consultant, Sphere 25, one concerning the plan in general and one about High Post, and has submitted them to the Council. These documents are available on our reports page at the top of the "Reports submitted to Wiltshire Council by Sustainable Amesbury" section.

The public consultation runs until November the 22nd. For more information or to submit your own comments visit Wiltshire Council's Current consultation (Reg 19) autumn 2023 and Wiltshire Local Plan Pre-Submission Draft 2020 - 2038 pages.
